The source

Meyreuil, at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire

At Meyreuil, in the heart of Provence, 808 rises from an artesian aquifer sealed 808 meters beneath the Sainte-Victoire mountain. Because the source is artesian, the water is never pumped: it ascends under its own natural pressure, driven by the geology that has protected it for millennia.
That same geology is its guardian. Sealed beneath hundreds of meters of limestone, the aquifer lies far below the reach of surface activity — which is why 808 needs no treatment to remain pure. We meet the water where it emerges and bottle it there, untouched.
The descent

From the summit to the source

  1. 0 m · surface

    The Sainte-Victoire

Rain falls on the slopes of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, above the sun-drenched Provençal landscape. Here, at the surface, the journey of 808 begins.

  2. Filtration through limestone

The water descends slowly through layer upon layer of ancient limestone. Over millennia, the stone filters it drop by drop, lending a gentle, balanced minerality as it goes.

  3. Beyond the reach of pollutants

Far below the surface, the water passes beneath the level of modern agriculture and industry. No nitrate, no pesticide, no PFAS reaches these depths — protection is geological, not technical.

    The artesian aquifer

At 808 meters, the water gathers in Europe's deepest protected artesian source. Held under natural pressure, it will rise on its own to be bottled at Meyreuil — exactly as nature composed it.

Fine Sparkling is 99.7% water and 0.3% CO₂ — carbonation kept deliberately light so the aromatics of the source are never masked.

A gentle dry residue of 244.8 mg/L places 808 among the lightly mineralised waters: on the palate, that reads as freshness and lightness rather than weight. Its naturally balanced pH of 7.6 gives a rounded, neutral finish — the reason 808 sits so easily on a water menu and beside the finest cuisine, where a heavier water would interfere with the food.
